I already use Stash Invest. How is Stash Retire different?
Stash Invest and Stash Retire both let you invest in high-quality ETFs in order for you to create the perfect portfolio for your beliefs and goals. Stash Retire is a tax-advantaged account -- this means that you pay no taxes when you take out the money when you’re over 59 ½ years old. We see Stash Invest as the ideal way to save for the long term when you’ve maxed out your IRA contributions or if you feel you will need to get to your money before your wonder years, or got your five to ten years goals, like a down payment for a house. Stash Retire is meant to be used as a “locked box” -- do not open until you’re 59 ½.
